These green blushing beauties are as sweet as can be! Each bite is firm, juicy and better than the last.


 

CHARACTERISTICS

It is of late temporality and its fruit is characterized by having a light green skin and sometimes combined with a pink tone, ripening is usually detected by touch to have a slight to medium softness.   Because it is a late variety, lenticels or "freckles" are often marked more, which do not affect the internal quality in the least.

Its pulp is fleshy and sweet with minimal to no presence of fiber, the color is moderately yellow;  Considered by many one of the best varieties of commercial mango.

 

oval fruit of size (450-980 gms) medium to large and Jumbos depending on the production area in Mexico its main exporter to the United States.

HISTORY

Culltivar originally from Florida (1945).
